Also IMO Junior Worlds in the format that it was in was extremely boring without a team or AA final.

Someone agreed with you because while the 2019 Junior Worlds competition format was only four days, the new technical regulations has it going forward as five days, with MAG/WAG AA Finals on their own day.

So it will be:
Day 1) MAG qualifications + Team Final
Day 2) WAG qualifications + Team Final
Day 3) MAG AA Final, WAG AA Final
Day 4) MAG/WAG EF 1
Day 5) MAG/WAG EF 2

Yeah, any competition where AA is determined in qualifications sucks–you don’t get to see the best competing against each other and half the time, you aren’t even sure who is competing AA until it is over. (hello NCAA championships…)
