KJ Johnson, they said during the broadcast that she was out of floor because she was recovering from illness.

I don’t recall hearing that she was out because of illness. I do recall Kathy and Bart talking about LSU struggling with illness/injuries.
KJ warmed up floor…perhaps it did not go well and they went with Shchenikova. If KJ was recovering from illness, maybe her endurance would have been effected.
