Simone is great, but I hope she doesn't make bar finals. Her routine is not pretty, and nothing too original/difficult other than the dismount. Which is also true of her beam. Vault and floor, however, I love to watch her.

it's genuinely one of her MOST insane stats imo that she's never not medaled in a beam final she contested. (Also that she's never gotten silver.)

I said elsewhere yesterday that Simone's secret greatest regret is that time she decided to get better at bars because she constantly accidentally makes bars finals while knowing she's unlikely to medal, so it's just an extra routine for her to do.

I have a hunch that Biles is going to make mistakes on vault and beam in AA final and Andrade wins. Not quite enough of a hunch to predict it though! I hope it’s like 2016 MAG AA and it’s close.
