So I just caught up on British Championships (I know) and there is some interest in a leo thread, so here you go! Please don't mind the quality of some of these images; I couldn't find many good photos so there are lots of screen captures from the video. Also, my knowledge of names and gyms is ... variable. Watching the meet (and having recently watched US Championships as well), I had the feeling that we're seeing a trend of slightly simpler leos than in the past several years. But maybe I'm just confounded by all the crazy NCAA leos, or maybe the leos are more restrained because these are smaller competitions vs. Worlds or Olympics? What do you think?
LOVE this one, such an unusual colour, and a refreshingly restrained design
Fairly meh on this one, primary colours with geometric designs in crystal has been done so many times ... and honestly I was sort of over it at the beginning too.
Pipers Vale; I love the colour combo
My first thought was UTAH!! Lol. Pretty standard black and red leo I guess.
I thought this one was super cool. I don't know if I've ever seen a cream-coloured leo before, and the use of the crystals to add colour was neat.
Bog standard pink leo.
Bog standard black and white leo
Heathrow, I loved this one. I'm not sure I would have made ALL the same design choices, but I'm a huge sucker for ombre, and the subtle white patterning layered on top really did it for me.
