I was really impressed with Konnor this weekend. After the year (and some) she’s had I’d really tempered my expectations for her. It was so good to see her come out and definitively show how great she can be. Hope she keeps building from here.

Looks like not going for Tokyo and the move to WOGA served her well.

I hope that if she makes the World team that Chiles would do the FTT because with that and a DTY she would easily make vault finals at Worlds IMO, maybe even a medal.

Okay, awarding last place medals is weird. Even in my little kids competitions they would never award second with fewer than 5 gymnasts.

They have always awarded vault medals. Even when only Sacramone did 2 vaults they awarded medals.

Roberson wasn’t last place though, she was 2nd.

Only Carey and Roberson did two vaults. Roberson won silver.

Not her fault that no one else decided to do a second vault. Chiles could have easily but didn’t. Wong got injured so she couldn’t.

Based on the TF line ups from USAG scoring, Jordan is absolutely on the team. She got 3rd on bars, 4th on beam, 3rd on floor. Probably the 3rd or 4th best DTY. And 3rd AA.
