2016 was the last year the champion did not score above 198 at finals. And 2nd place cleared 198 as well in 4 (twice Oklahoma, twice Florida) out of the 7 seasons since 2016, which is maybe an even more stunning result. To me, there is only one program that could win for the first time in the foreseeable future. That's Cal. I would love there to be the case made for another team other than Cal.
