Especially those that have ties to the Caribbean.
Selena Harris already stated she intends to compete for Guatemala toward the lead up to LA.

Makes sense. She can have her training for free for the next 3 years, right? I know she's a 2nd year and they can usually have 5 years in college max. In that situation, unless you really wanted to leave the sport or had specific, time limited plans for your post gym life, why wouldn't you?

She's a junior this year, so its her 3rd year of eligibility. She has her senior year for 2026 season and then she's used up her eligibility. But she could do her masters at UFL in 2026-2027 and be a student grad coach).

Also...LORD HELP US. It took me THREE times to type 2026 and 2027 respectively. I kept typing 2006 and 2007. Still can't believe 2005 was 20 years ago. When did that happen?

I’m going through a bit of a crisis after turning 35 this week. I thought I was over it. But I was not prepared for the realisation that the 05-08 quad was twenty years ago.

We should totally do something this summer to celebrate Sydney 25. I dunno, like pop nurofen or something

I'd love to see someone random to come back, like when Kristie Phillips competed in 2000.

Hush. I'll be 54 in May. I turned 35 during the first year of the open-ended COP.

We've not actually had a proper barny over Sydney on the new board, now I come to think of it.

The Nurofen works well because as well as the Raducan connection, also I'm well up for a chat about everyone's middle aged lower back pain.

I love how y'all are over here complaining about being old... I'll be 17 in April haha.
I'll be headed into my last year of college the summer of LA '28.

Tell me about it! I’m currently rewatching MIOBI (guilty pleasure and it makes my gym seem less dramatic) and every time they talk about aiming for 2012 my brain double takes thinking about how long ago that was.

I remember being devasted that Cheng Fei didn’t make FX EF in Melbourne.

Oddly I’ve gone the other way. After 2.5 years of adult gymnastics my back has never felt better. Last weekend I even managed an old tramp routine that I haven’t performed since my 2018 injury 😮

I'm watching MIOBI for the first time currently! I'm almost done with season 2 lol

Mine was really bad when I was in my mid-40s, when my daughter was an infant and I had to haul her around. Then she started walking, and I (re) discovered yoga and Pilates. Now I rarely have back pain, and my balance and core strength are better than ever (very important during the winter, when black ice is a constant hazard).

I turned 45 on Wed. I still remember watching Zmeskal in 1990.
