Alia Leat with 13.4 on beam. Super impressive considering she’s only been back training for 6 months.

Interestingly there was also an Aspire gymnast from Heathrow called Elisabetta Cardelli who scored 13.8 (with bonus) on beam yesterday, so she will probably outscore all the seniors today.

She ended up being English beam and AA champion off the back of it! Also floor. Fair to say she has made her comeback.

Frances Stone has done very well in both the Welsh and English- she could be a consideration for Euros.

It’s looking less and less likely that Alice and GMF will compete this year? With Jen and Charlotte now injured, possibly Ruby E too after Cottbus, that is leaving a very depleted squad, especially if the developmental senior squad is being phased out.

I’m guessing the euros team will be Jess Gadirova, Evans, Stacey, Stone and Leat? Davies I guess if Evans is too injured.

My point is that it feels very different to the examples you’ve given.

GMF was at Lilleshall recently. I suspect we'll see her at some point this year, albeit maybe not for Euros.
