6 gymnasts are allowed to compete at Team Worlds

FIG is scrambling to find hosts.
They have Rotterdam hosting 2026 (again they host) but there is still no confirmed 2025 host, which is about two year out.

Wasn’t there some talk of Brazil hosting?

Also 2025 individual worlds are going from 4 gymnasts, 3 compete each event, to 3 gymnasts, 2 compete each event.

Yes there have been rumours about Brazil for a while. There are also rumours about an unspecified European host so who knows. I really expected it to be announced at the end of worlds. Sometimes they do a short closing ceremony and say “see you in …”.

There’s a lot more than arena cost making Worlds (or any multi-day gym event) so expensive. And there’s tons of work going into it in preparation - a lot of which is done by volunteers.

So only one AAer per country if they use all three athletes on events in qualifications? That makes no sense.
