I'm interested to see if day 1, which is AA, ends up being a total splatfest like 2017 and we get Gabrielle Hardie going to worlds.

Also curious to see how Roberson looks, and if she'll also wreck her ankles.

Looking back, I guess she withdrew before they announced the invites. They added her to the National Team though, and the invites are just everyone on the National Team.

I know there is not team competition this year, but how the quals work? Can't everyone do all 4 events? Blakely obviously wouldn't as she is only doing UB/BB this season. But couldn't the other three try for AA (and then one would be 2-pered of course)?

Only 3 people can compete on each event in quals, so someone has to sit out each event.

If they only took a team of 3, then 3 of them could do AA.

I rolled my ankle too so I'm going to have to bow out also. Sorry if that messes up anyone's brackets...

Injuries are once again making the US team easy to predict, in the saddest way possible. I wanted Hang on the team all year but not like this. I guess Rivera benefited from the fallout last year and now she's letting someone else benefit from her own.

The fact that Leanne Wong is the best AA gymnast going to Worlds from the US in 2025 is not something I would have ever predicted, but here we are. I'd like to see Hang alongside her, but Roberson is right there. Blakely is for sure going for UB/BB, so it's Hang and Roberson competing for AA vs. VT/FX spot in my opinion. Hardie and Sullivan would be great alternates.

She was invited, as all national team members were invited, but she declined the invitation to attend.
