I think they're adorable in a goofy, half adult sort of way. To be fair, I have a niece and a nephew around the same age. The urge to aunty them is strong.

I don't know why nobody has been grasping this concept. The USA is always weak on UB, so a high score potential on UB plus solid on the other events is the ticket to major teams.

Especially for gymnasts like Wong who CAN swing bars. With Roberson there’s no point

I sometimes wonder if bars are what pommel horse is to the US men. They simply don't like training it. I'm sure it's not the case for all the women, but I remember hating bars myself.

Leanne should be proud of herself, I think. Two time alternate is hard but it’s still a great achievement to go along with her two team titles, two individual medals, and participation in every individual final except bars while also managing full participation in NCAA and a premed major. She’s had an impactful career for sure.

Not to mention, Shilese and Suni swinging bars is why they were able to nip at Simone's heels. If they were totally healthy, they could have beaten Simone.

All but Gabby suffered a major injury. They didn’t fail because they took the wrong approach
