These are going to start pouring in between now and after the Olympics, might as well consolidate them.

I would like to push back against the idea that doing podcasts means that your life is neither serious nor purposeful. Can it mean that? Sure, and we probably have several examples of that. Does it have to mean that? I would say no. There are some podcasts out there that are very helpful to people. Additionally, being a stay at home parent is also serious and purposeful. Is it essentially a job? Well, they're not paying other people to take care of their kids (a job!) so I would say it certainly can be. The idea that the only way to be successful is to be a doctor or a lawyer, as laudable as those professions are, can be seriously toxic. People need to find what their strengths are and contribute to society in the way that fits them best.
