I feel like Wong’s coach (on bars) is one of those who push it with the spotting. No risk of deduction, but spotting every giant??

I know they are different events but I don’t see the difference between what Wong’s coach does on UB vs that Landi is doing on VT

But Simone gets a 0.5 deduction for the spotter whereas UB gets a pass - I don’t see why UB gets a pass to spot on basic skills but you can’t have a coach on the podium for a YDP

That top four is money. Just need someone to sub for Blakely on fx. I think most of us thought that would be Chiles or Carey…but not after this weekend.

How did Jong end up 6th? It seems so wrong Kaliya Lincoln ended up in 13th because of one event. That’s a real bummer.

She’ll almost certainly get an invite. If she makes Worlds or Pan Ams, she’ll get added to NT. Not sure what the funding looks like these days–not all spots have always been funded, or funded the same, iirc
