2028 Olympic Trials speculation

Because I've always dreamed of going to Louisville.

As I said earlier in this thread, a city like Louisville (or Birmingham) is a step down for USAG. I'm not sure if top-tier cities just didn't bid, or their bids weren't attractive.

Oooh, my best gymnastics friend lives a few hours from Louisville. We haven't been to a meet together since 2011 Nationals so this would be a blast. Also unrelated to gymnastics, but I do need to bring my grandma's ashes back to Louisville so I could combine events lol.

How far in advance to tickets usually go on sale?

I would have preferred Cincinnati over Louisville. Perhaps I'll attend. What do Olympic team trials tickets usually cost?

Started at $450 in 2024, had to buy all-session tickets.

Mine in the corner (by the fx) in the lower section were $1000+$200 fees, no gym discount. The primo seats in the middle by beam and vault were more. They were all sessions but the people next to me skipped the MAG days and I had different people each night of WAG. So I guess there was reselling of single sessions going on.

Normally with likely no Simone or Suni or other big name draw, you'd expect it to be a little cheaper, but home Olympics, all bets are off. People have been really salty online that all the gymnastics tickets for LA sold out of drop 1 before any non local got a shot at them and have been talking about going to trials instead.
