The pattern is weird though. It makes teenage Chinese gymnasts look like they have hips like Tourischeva

I agree. I love the simple neckline and plain colour. I would have preferred to either have the bodice sparkle or the sleeve sparkle. I don’t think it needs both.

Also liked the green Chinese on - it was pretty

Not a huge fan of the yellow Brazilian leos - yellow is such a hard colour to wear and I don’t think it suited Flavia and Beca although not as bad as those Soviet ones in the late 80s

China’s pink and blue ones would be nicer with the flag on the arm or anywhere but front and center.

I wonder if the purple US one will start a trend of less is more.

The stomach cutout/patch on mexico’s was a no from me.

I just wished I could get a better pic of that Brazil leo so I could decide whether it’s a yellow-yellow or a greenish, neon yellow. It’s one of those things that’s hard to gauge from online pics.

Also, note to China: the red lipstick doesn’t make your girls look older, just kind of… washed out and sickly. Lose it next time.

I think the yellow Brazil leo would look better as a slightly softer shade.

The red US leo from day 1 EF would have been beautiful, but the explosion of rhinestones across the upper bodice and shoulders wrecked it. Just too much.
