It would be more than a little strange to have forgotten the birth of your child!

I dont actually remember the birth of one of them, but I think that’s probably a trauma response. It does happen.

I just got a shock in my work inbox:

Subject: Rafiki back online
Rafiki was just down for some hardware maintenance. It has fully working fans again now.

I know I've been tired lately but didn't realise things were that serious

It seems Rafiki is the name of some high performance computer my lab has access to. Who knew!
