for the loop form itself, Yurchenko’s was not the best. However, her preceding relevé style and the controlled hip circle with calm choreo afterwards made it one of the best.

edit: I also think Yurchenko reached upwards for longer on her loop, and thus has to tuck her knees and rely on the hip circle to keep her on the beam; there’s something gainer-esque in LR’s loop, and it’s probably a more accurate technique. But yeah, Natalia had amplitude! And no, I don’t mind the knee bend if it looks nice

ok I found a good proposal for best full-in: Andrade. Specifically this one. The one time she kept it in bounds in Tokyo.
