A coach from Kentucky told us that they are losing several in the portal fwiw. Here in Salt Lake City for Dev Nationals and we get to chat with them a lot.

Thats a surprise. None of their gymnasts are even rumoured to be in the portal.

A good addition for Arkansas but I'm not sold on her getting a big score bump from joining the SEC as I've seen theorised elsewhere.

I agree, a solid gymnast and a feel-good story. But I think a few people get carried away with the emotion which is understandable.

Maryland had 3 enter the portal (that we know of), but already has taken in 5! It looks like some of the transfers will make the vault lineup, and a healthy Reade can comfortably replace Martin on floor.

With a loaded freshman class including 5 three-stars, and 5 new routines needed for the bars lineup, this season will be a “new look” for the team.

I am surprised given Maryland's close proximity to Hill's and Parkettes that we don't see more gymnasts from those clubs go there.

For Hill's, I think there's a desire to not be quite so close to home. They don't end up at Towson or GWU, either.

But Maryland has never been particularly strong recruiting in-state. I've always found it very curious.
