This article just came out which discusses the new administration and its impact on the upcoming NCAA settlement:
Trump Has a Funny Way of Protecting Women’s Sports
Its behind a paywall, but the TLDR version is the Trump administration under the claim of protecting womens' sports from trans athletes has now removed any Title IX restrictions on distributing the new athlete revenue payments from the settlement. This means that womens sports will likely receive little to no revenue further exacerbating the support gap between men's and women's sports. This also reinforces the market that women's sports are not as relevant as male sports which in theory Title IX was intended to help mitigate.
