Did any reserve athletes get called up for event or all-around finals? Men or women? With all of the injuries knocking out top competitors before the games, that would be an amazing statistic.

I think the only alternates that were used was Su Weide from CHN for Sun Wei and Tisha Volleman from Netherlands for Vera Van Pol and Zoja Szekely from Hungary for Zsofia Kovacs.
