Yes but can you imagine her saying to you, her child, that being a lawyer was more meaningful than raising you lol... totally agree with your sentiment, but still. (Also zero regrets about not having kids.)
I am both a mother and a lawyer. Its not possible to say which was more important in my life. They were both significant parts of my life, neither of which I would have given up. Its like saying "who means more to you, your husband or your children" or 'which of your children was more important to you"

I have one of the most flexible possible arrangements for a working mom and it's still hard to juggle--it might actually be easier if there were less flexibility, but I'd also miss a lot more. I don't know if I'd end up feeling more guilty than I already do for what I miss, though?

It also sounds like Jordyn's realizing she's never experienced life that was anything other than pure intensity, and that she needs to step away from that and learn what life can be outside of it. Which is probably a very healthy thing for her and for her family.

I do wonder a bit about the institution's immediate choice to move Brooks in to the HC role without looking at bringing in outside coaches at all. It does offer continuity for the program, and he has a couple of years of seniority of Ross? But Ross is also the one who seems to do all their recruiting, which is a huge part of the HC position.
