So other than a few here and there this meet is essentially NCAA pre-nationals.
LOL

It is true. Shows how important Men’s NCAA is to our elite team development.

Most excited to see -

Asher Hong,

Allan Bower has retired.

ICYMI the relationship between Flogym and USAG has ended.

So we can see Jrs and hopefully men’s day 2

I have heard there is going to be streaming, but none of the Day 2 watch options have been published yet. I secretly hope they are trying to find a network to carry it, but who knows.

Asher Hong…that kid is a beast! Put up an 84.45 last night at the Horton Challenge. Hope he can stay healthy.

I’m really just excited to see the younger guys and what they can bring to a big 2 day meet.

Oh! And Colin VW! I so hope he stays healthy over this next week so he can compete.

Traveling to Dallas is proving most difficult for some! I am wondering if everyone will make it. I am pretty sure many will be missing podium training.

There is D score bonus now.

The rationale is to incentivize people to do harder routines.

The theory is some people might be holding back and doing easier routines so they don’t lose a chance at funding.

My theory of why most people aren’t doing the really hard routines is because they can’t.

I’m not a gymnast, so I could be wrong.

I think there are some men who have skills, and choose not to do them because of the risk/reward. It will be interesting to see if they decide to try them or not. I think it will take a few meets before we see if this is something that truly works or not.
