Beam scoring feels a bit generous again. Jess Gadirova got 7.8 E with a fall.

to be fair that doesn’t affect your e score but yes I felt some scores were high. Alice bar score for instance. There was a lot to take off the landing alone.

I wonder when the last time Whitlock scored a 10 was?

10.45 in PH EF (three falls). He shrugged to the crowd afterwards!

I see Becky upgraded to an impromptu orphan half in the apparatus final.

I had an 8.2 E . Very nice set. She didn’t lose much on the Stalder 1.5 but the orphan half was a borderline 3. It’s a good cover if she can try and work those orphan half’s to handstand.

I’m shook she managed to squeeze out a Stalder Tkatchev 1/2 from a short orphan half!

Agreed. Even though I’ve seen it so often, the release timing and the ping of the bar always give me pause. It’s impressive that she normally lands it pretty well.

Stickler’s floor was the stand out EF routine today. Shame about the final spin.

It was weird being in a different arena but it did mean you could see a lot more of gymnasts interacting between routines.

This was great except for the silliness of trying that Switch Full attempt so early in the season (just bleeding deductions), and then the audacity to do a Switch Half after the dismount!

Alice is looking good. This was a great AA set. And she managed the front full in the second line.

Her Downie in the AA was HUGE i’m surprised she caught the bar.

Her straddle jump really stuck out to me. Her legs are so wonky.

This was a calm mature performance.

I still wished they changed her bars dismount. I know the extra 0.2 but I cringe every time.



Ondine’s DTY might be the best we have in GB right now.
