Very happy to see that NCAA granted the entire Iowa State team an additional year of eligibility to make up for this season.

Serious question— Arel Posen is in portal. She medically retired after her freshman year. When you medically retire your scholarship is still being honored…so those 3yrs of retirement go against her years of eligibility correct?…assuming she had stayed in school. So what eligibility does she have left?

She definitely has one year left. The NCAA may grant her another, they've been granting additional years pretty willy nilly of late across various sports.
