I guess that's kind of the process here. Just feels a little unnecessary to me. Why give out some sort of team award during an individual championship?Well, I suppose they looked at "teams" ranking from 3 up, realized they couldn't treat AIN1 as a team, and just did it on combined score / difficulty. Maybe they're trying to find a less subjective category than elegance?
Karina's Cheng
Because they're (she, and skinner especially) are just tumbling over a table. So in this case it's a roundoff - double double (laid out). They're not fully using the table for blockingI don't understand the mechanics of how it's easier to vault one handed than use both.
I think it's because they're not 'vaulting' in the traditional sense of the term. Its more of a running salto.I don't understand the mechanics of how it's easier to vault one handed than use both.
Thanks! So in essence they're not really pushing off from the table but using their leg power instead? That was where I was a bit confused.Because they're (she, and skinner especially) are just tumbling over a table. So in this case it's a roundoff - double double (laid out). No, I am as well.Am I the only one watching the pommel horse final?![]()
Thank you for the solidarity, LOLNo, I am as well.
Yes, basically that is what it is! Which is objectively easier than having to do a 1,5 - 1,5 from blocking off the tableThanks! So in essence they're not really pushing off from the table but using their leg power instead? That was where I was a bit confused.
