Deductions on an Amanar will pretty much negate it over a DTY at this point, I think

Last quad it wasnt really worth it if your name wasn't Rebeca Andrade. This year, Ruby has been training hers and it looked quite good in the run up to worlds. But I think the equipment probably precluded it.

I believe they downgraded it to the point it was not worth taking the risk of a blind landing anymore. And potentially destroying your knees as well

I can't imagine Kalmykova nailing that vault on a regular basis in training. She doesn't seem to have the power at all.

I was always taught that touching any of the equipment (the board, pegasus or mat) leads to a zero

I got the impression from Ruby's training videos that she did intend to compete it here. So hopefully next year on less dangerous equipment.

I was floating between sleep and consciousness for the MAG FX final but could still hear what went on. Congrats on GB going 1-2 and Yulo for hanging onto bronze

Still a decent performance from Yulo, but obviously not the usual difficult routine.

He had an interview where he said he is choosing where and what to compete at this stage. Somewhere it was said he is nursing a wrist injury, despite him saying he is physically doing well.
