If Sumanasekera withdrew due to illness, makes me wonder if she was trying to compete sick and they decided it wasn't worth itLooks like it
No. Sorry to go off topic but this is wholly incorrect. It’s a German surname (quite a common one). Some people with the surname may be Jewish, But it’s one surname and like many many German surnames, the 2nd n gets dropped when migrating to other countries.Eichman is not Eichmann. Two ns is German. One n is usually Jewish. She gets to use that music.
Hezely off on a switch half. Lands double pike dismount with her face on her knees, wasn't sure she was going to put that to her feet.

Pretty much all the established gymnasts are retired or in NCAA, so we've got a group of fresh meat who haven't been to any major competitions (save for Rivera). Especially since many became senior in an Olympic year where none of them were going to break into the top tier.I feel like this winter cup compared to others in the past has less experienced gymnasts
Many German diaspora do use the double nn, and many do not. There is no hard rule, some people anglicise their names, some people don’t. Ov/off endings are the same, as are the many spelling variations of Irish surnames. If you wish to discuss more, please drop me a DM.Not so. This is not typical though. Usually in the post Olympic year, the USA has new seniors raring to goPretty much all the established gymnasts are retired or in NCAA, so we've got a group of fresh meat who haven't been to any major competitions (save for Rivera). why are coaches allowed to be so close to the gymnasts on bars but not other events?

Bars is statistically the least likely apparatus to experience a serious injuryBecause Jennifer Sey broke her femur in 1985.
