I don't know if this start list is up to date.. I thought they were saying not everyone would be competing on Day 2 but I can't find an updated start list. This is the original one anyway.

WHOA. Whittenburg went to dismount but instead of grabbing his legs for the triple pike, he re-grabbed the ring and his leg, got stuck on the ring and went flipping sideways into the ground instead of a dismount.

I was here with my calculator out ready to figure out what Asher Hong would need to pass him on SR for Whittenburg to get the autolock spot. That's not happening now.

He walked off fine, I don't think he was hurt or anything. It was just a really wonky fall. The ring was trapped between his hand and his leg. Not sure if he even felt that it was there with the grips on.

He looked devastated on the sidelines though. That was a guaranteed trip to Worlds, gone.
