The World champion USA women and Japanese men will begin their Olympic campaigns on Balance Beam and Vault respectively : that sucks

USA will compete in subdivision 2, with China starting on Vault in the same subdivision. Brazil, whose silver at the World Championships was the first team medal for the nation, will compete in the final subdivision, with Vault its first apparatus. Just like Great Britain’s men’s team, the Team GB women will start on Vault in subdivision 1

GBR men and women both drew subdivision 1. Ouch.

US didn't fare much better with men in 1 and women in 2.

It’s a great draw for Brazil and sub two could be great to watch

I expect the GB women will be pleased to start on vault though. That draw is swings and roundabouts for them.

It is mind blowing how Romania seems to always get the worst draw possible.
