Luisa Blanco’s quest to make it to Paris begins with an 11.933 on floor.

just a silly question, if we had a great puerto rican gymnast, would she compete for the us team?

Brostella of Panama rough hands down fall on double tuck dismount on floor. OUCH

Colombia has an interesting leo design. It’s like a leo under a leo.

wasnt she from new jersey
I think her family was Puerto Rican and she could have competed for PR if she wanted to. It is weird that it isn’t like there is a citizenship issue. It would be rude as hell, but mainland US could pack the PR team with b team members…maybe?

I think all puerto ricans have us citzenship. I might be wrong.

You aren’t, they do. I guess as long as the PR gym fed let you, anyone in the us could compete for PR. Or Guam. American Samoa…think of all the teams… 😉

It all depends. Puerto Ricans are US Citizens and so they have an equal choice of which country they want to represent since Puerto Rico is an American territory.
If there was a Puerto Rican gymnast who lived in Puerto Rico, she would represent Puerto Rico. If she chose to represent the United States, she would need to move to the US and have permanent residency in one of the 50 states for minimum three years before she could represent USA.

Laurie Hernandez is of American citizenship because she was born in the US.

Gigi Fernandez, famous tennis doubles player was born in Puerto Rico and competed for Puerto Rico before moving to the US and then representing US at the 1992 and 1996 Olympics, where she won gold both times.
There was a huge backlash from the people of Puerto Rico against Gigi for leaving her nation and switching to the US.

I’m logged in but the feeds just keep loading. I tried rebooting my Android phone, but nothing.

I’m able to watch movies fine on Prime and Peacock, so I don’t think the issue is my connection speed. Any ideas why it just keeps loading and how to fix it? I really want to watch Pan Ams. Thanks!

I think i do like Colombia’s leo…gonna need another look.

I think is also hideous, but not as bad as Mexico.

No, i think i still like it. The beading looks great on the screen and i appreciate the attempt with the neckline. And i love the blue color combo.

Mexico’s bikini is still in the lead for top uggo.

I cant tell if it has a built in sports bra or if its another case of overdone design.

Any quick hits of the U.S. routines is super appreciated. I can’t watch. Thank you! ❤️
