Anyone received their tickets yet? Leaving in two weeks and still did not receive them

I messaged them two weeks ago, they said we will get e-tickets two weeks out. I leave the 19th for the UK and would prefer to be printing tickets for 7 people at home. Because no way can I shuffle a weeks worth of e-tickets on my phone. We shall see.

NBC/Peacock for US viewers

TBD for the UK. BG posted this last week:
We’re delighted that all finals will be shown in full, live across the BBC. We’re unsure at this stage on which channels and will update this as soon as we hear more. We understand coverage will be on a mix of BBC2, BBC3 and the iPlayer.

We’re waiting to find out more information about coverage of qualifying and will update this page as soon as we know more.

Sooooooo… If I don’t have Peacock because I just didn’t need another streaming service, can I watch it all live on NBCSports .com?
Alternatively, would a VPN and BBC work? I am having strong objections to being railroaded into yet another specific streaming service for this and having held out from NBC streaming ever since they yoinked the skating and charged me $50 without notice, I don’t want to give in and give them money again.

And edit- do we have any way to watch the podium training yet? Will it be on Flip Now, which I did cave and purchase for one month?

need another streaming service, can I watch it all live on NBCSports .com?

In my experience NBCSports requires that you already have a network or Hulu service. Sling wasn’t even good enough. And I tried a VPN with the BBC and it still blocked me. Maybe I got the address part wrong. They want a residential address too.

Since NBC has a contract for the event I doubt FlipNow has anything.

When Scott Bregman was still with them USAG did better.

Why do men get 2 opportunities to training on the podium, but only 1 for women? Seems incredibly unfair.

The MAG podium training time is halved so that is why they have 2 opportunities.
They don’t have an overall longer time than the women.
It is how the FIG is managing their new schedule to minimize the total number of days that Worlds takes place. IIRC this new schedule reduced Worlds by two days.

Ugh, absolutely no broadcast of qualifications. At all. Period. Eurovision is the distributor and they have decided not to transmit. So even if broadcasters wanted to show qualifications, no dice.

It’s 20-fucking-22! How is this even happening? How is FIG allowing this to happen? Ridiculous.

It’s crazy. Literally one person could be hired to set up iPads on tripods next to each event and stream qualifying. Has there been any explanation of why?

Would love to know how that contract got signed. Amazing that there are a squillion rules for hosting an event but a company is allowed to prevent the rest of the world from seeing it.

Particularly annoying when you think that for 1993 worlds, 30 fucking years ago, the BBC broadcast prelims. On terrestrial, when they only had two channels, meaning the limitations were much more significant than today. Usually access to the internet makes following gymnastics infinitely easier than it was back then. Apparently not for this.
