Not sure what angle BBC used, but the one arm pirouettes looked right to be on top sitting on the side of bars across the arena. The piked Stalder full and cast half looked borderline, I think.

Her line isn’t my favorite, and tbh I thought Rebeca deserved it last year. But this year I think she just minimized everything just enough to make it happen. I think the landing helped push her up in the judges eyes. They’re still human. I’m not upset, though. Shilese had her form errors, too.
 
I feel like there isn’t enough separation between those with glorious form (Luo) and just slightly rank throughout (Wei) such that it’s not quite bad enough to get 0.1s on every skill.

We need a half tenth option for this. Or “whole routine” deductions at the end for general elongation and extension throughout (like we already have on beam and floor). Feet, Knees, Back, Shoulder line, size of hand placement on the bar, etc.
