I can see it going to Laurent to be honest, especially now that he is freed early from WCC, he was supposed to continue until after summer this year.
It is a position that allows him to continue working in gymnastics, while also maintaining residence within Georgia while Cecile coaches at UGA. He can travel when he needs to for camps, etc.

While Landi didn't "grow" the elites under him, it is also true that nearly all of them improved significantly. Dulcy Caylor looked like a totally different gymnast this last year. And Josc has all those form issues but they are less prominent than they were when she first started at WCC. What percentage of that was Laurant vs. Cecile, I can't say.

So improving gymnasts form and developing skills should be in his skill set (unless again, it was all Cecile). And, they had 8 gymnasts at Nationals, no other gym had that (but no juniors). But he definitely has the name recognition and lots of people have to grow into their jobs--they don't always have all the skills at the start.
