I ran into Chellsie yesterday and she seemed so delightfully easygoing about this, so bring it on!

Yeah I really enjoyed getting to watch warms ups before Classic. Back to quick hits for all the training sessions I guess.

Dang USAG.

So to see NBCSN the only way is to use a VPN and pay for a subscription?

I’m going to nationals for the first time. Are warm ups open to the public? I figure podium training isn’t open, but I’m wondering about the time in between the junior and senior sessions.

They will typically open the doors for a session at least an hour before it starts (UC Classic was 90 minutes), so, yes, you can usually watch at least part of warm-ups.

best I can tell, the following gymnasts qualified to nationals but will not compete:
Olivia Greaves, sr.
Lilly Leppeatt, sr.
Elle Mueller, sr.
JaFree Scott, sr.
Levi Jung-Ruivivar, jr.

McCusker will only do bars. The injury was to her ankle

Word on Reddit is that Lee will compete AA but with a watered down floor (no DLO) which brings her D to a 5.4/5.5. She is debating whether to compete an FTY or DTY.

Ooof, neither of those things are great. I didn’t see Riley’s UB from podium training, but what kind of scoring potential do they have?

The UB set she plans is a 6.4.

Lee’s DTY from training recently:

So that bar routine - I know it’s a mesh of 3 routines, but I had it at a 9.2E.

If she can hit, she could get a 15 on bars. That’s a score that Tom would find quite difficult to ignore when you’re thinking about the second +1.

I’m starting to think that jade and Riley might be USA’s +2.
