3. Stephen Nedoroscik 32 (62 total)
3. Jenn Trann 31 (62 total)
5. Brooks Nader 33 (61 total)
6. Danny Amendola 30 (60 total)
7. Ilona Maher 26 (56 total)
7. Phaedra Parks 26 (56 total)
9. Dwight Howard 29 (52 total)
10. Eric Roberts 22 (46 total)
11. Reginald VelJohnson 21 (42 total)

Roberts and VelJohnson were eliminated. 9 contestants left.

That was a fun dance. People said the choreography shined because Rylee had a partner putting in effort. Her previous partners apparently weren’t as hard-working as Stephen.

He is doing well. Definitely see him going to the finale.
I personally think he has been underscored. And can someone explain to me how Chandler Kinney, who was professionally trained as a dancer, is competing as one of the “stars”?

I've never watched the show before and (embarrassingly) have had to Google some of the names to find out if they're the stars or the regulars, but Stephen has been so much fun to watch. I wouldn't have recognized him with the hair last night! If you're on Twitter, his bio changes almost daily depending on what they're doing in rehearsal/show days and I love it.

Week 4: Dedication Night

Nedoroscik dedicated his dance to Men's Gymnastics, in Penn State blue.

Judges scores
1. Danny Amendola - 36
1. Joey Graziadei - 36
3. Stephen Nedoroscik - 33
4. Chandler Kinney - 32
4. Phaedra Parks - 32
4. Ilona Maher - 32
4. Jenn Tran - 32
4. Brooks Nader - 32
9. Dwight Howard - 29

Brooks Nader was eliminated.

Week 5: Disney night.

This week they had scores for their individual dances and then everyone was put into two teams for another score. Nedoroscik ended up in the bottom three tonight.

Hercules: A Star is Born - Judges criticism was that he was rushing and getting ahead of the music. Scored 8, 8, 8.

Team Roar - Judges criticism was they were not in sync. Scored 8, 8, 8.

Individual Scores:
Chandler Kinney - 27/30
Danny Amendola - 27/30
Joey Graziadei 25/30
Ilona Maher 25/30
Jenn Tran 24/30
Dwight Howard 24/30
Stephen Nedoroscik 24/30
Phaedra Parks 24/30

Team Scores:
1. Team Goof 27/30 (Kinney, Graziadei, Maher, Tran)
2. Team Roar 24/30 (Nedoroscik, Howard, Amendola, Parks)

Phaedra Parks was eliminated.

And Chandler Kinney, a professionally trained dancer, is on top. It’s ridiculous. I hate DWTS for many reasons, but having her compete as a “star” takes the cake.

Week 6: Halloween Nightmares

Everyone did their individual dances and then there was a dance off to get +3 added to their score. Nedoroscik did his best dance so far and earned his first 10. It's also Rylee Arnold's first 10 as a pro-dancer on the show.

Criticism: Nothing but praise from all three judges, said he did a good job embodying the character. Scored 10, 9, 9.

Contemporary to "I Ran (So Far Away)" by Hidden Citizens

Dance Offs
Ilona Maher vs. Dwight Howard
Winner: Dwight Howard

Jenn Tran vs. Stephen Nedoroscik
Winner: Jenn Tran

Danny Amendola vs. Joey Graziadei
Winner: Joey Graziadei

Chandler Kinney had immunity from the dance off and won +3 from last week.

Salsa to "Jump In the Line" by Harry Belafonte

Final Results
1. Chandler Kinney - 29 +3
1. Joey Graziadei - 29 +3
3. Jenn Tran - 28 +3
3. Dwight Howard - 28 +3
5. Stephen Nedoroscik - 28
5. Danny Amendola - 28
7. Ilona Maher - 24

Jenn Tran was eliminated. Viewer votes seem to carry a lot of weight.

No show next week because of the election. When it comes back they're doing some "Instant Dance" thing where they get a song and a dance style and have 5 minutes to come up with something, then dance live. Not sure how Nedoroscik is going to do without a routine. Maybe they're still doing the individual rehearsed dances and that challenge is just for bonus points. I have no idea, this show makes no sense to me.

I've never watched the show until this season and I agree, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me either. After the first dance last night, it was like the judges could only praise people and give 9s and 10s - poor Ilona going first and missing all of that. I can't make sense of "this wasn't great and you can do better at that and YOU GET A 10!!!" I guess it's like NCAA gym in that viewers get excited to see high scores, but also like NCAA gym, it's super frustrating to see high scores and not understand why or how that routine was good enough for the score it received.

I know lifts are super challenging, but also tired of some of these guys mostly standing, walking, and lifting a partner who's dancing pretty much the entire thing on their own, then being praised for their incredible dancing. I feel like Stephen's doing a much better job of actually being PART of the dancing than most of the male "stars."

In both dances, it looks like Riley's relying heavily on Stephen's acrobatic abilities. Which I can see for contemporary, I imagine it's easier to get away with that there. I don't know the rules or standards for a salsa.

Not DWTS related but Nedoroscik was on the YouTube show "Mythical Kitchen."

ETA: So I just watched it. The image shows them just with food but the first 11 minutes of the video they are in a gym doing gymnastics. It's Stephen teaching the guy to do a circle and scissor on the pommel horse and doing some pommel horse himself. Then the rest of it they're eating the food but it's like an interview, he's answering questions about his gymnastics career.

I thought it was going to be some weird food challenge thing but they're just eating Stephen's favorite foods during an interview.

Week 7: 500th Episode

It's the 500th episode of Dancing with the Stars so the theme is "reinterpret a popular dance from one of the last 500 episodes." Stephen and Rylee are doing a Viennese waltz that's inspired by a dance Mark Ballas and Charli D'Amelio did in Season 31. Original Ballas/D'Amelio dance.

Judges remarks: "Bruno told him to be proud of the routine, adding that he had finally grasped the lyrical side of dance. Carrie Ann said the world needed their performance right now, and Derek said it made him feel something truly beautiful tonight."
Score: 10, 10, 9

Viennese waltz to “Glimpse of Us” by Joji

Then there was an "Instant Dance Challenge" where they drew a random dance and song and had only five minutes to practice before coming out and performing it. Nedoroscik said he was hoping they would draw a jive for the dance and then they did.

Judges remarks: Stylistically Stephen has improved but there were a couple of timing issues and one mistake.
Score: 9, 9, 8

Jive to “Love Is Embarrassing” by Olivia Rodrigo

Final Results
1. Chandler Kinney - 60
2. Joey Graziadei - 55
3. Stephen Nedoroscik - 54
4. Ilona Maher - 52
5. Danny Amendola - 51
6. Dwight Howard - 48

Dwight Howard was eliminated.

It's crazy how often Nedoroscik ends up in 3rd. Next week is the Semi-Finals, Stephen continues on!

Apparently the instant dance thing wasn't 100% instant because only four types of dance were options to be drawn and they were told earlier in the week what the four types were so they could practice some choreography for each. Then they found out live on air which one they would be doing and had five minutes to prepare.

It is outrageous that Chandler Kinney is competing in this. She is a professionally trained dancer. Stephen is doing remarkably well.

Are the other people genuinely famous? I honestly don't know who any of them are, and I am starting to think I have disassociated from the world or something!
Well, remember a lot of people who watch DWTS don’t know who Stephen is. The “stars” on DWTS are mostly a bunch of C and D list celebrities with a few “has been” celebs sprinkled in, plus one or two Olympians and/or not well known retired pro athletes

Besides Stephen, the only names I recognized were Reginald VelJohnson (he had a sizable role as a cop in Die Hard), Tori Spelling (90210), and Dwight Howard (great NBA player).

Ouch!

Kidding. Thanks for making me feel better, actually. LOL.

It's up to season 33, I think they ran out of real stars willing to be on the show a while ago.

I only knew Reginald VelJohnson because he played the dad, Carl Winslow, on Family Matters and Tori Spelling because she was Donna on 90210.

Of the people who are left, this is how they are "stars"

Danny Amendola - NFL
Joey Graziadei - Reality TV (The Bachlorette, The Bachelor)
Chandler Kinney - Disney Channel kid
Ilona Maher - US Olympic Rugby Team
Stephen Nedoroscik - US Olympic Gymastics Team

Those who were eliminated:
Anna Delvey - con artist
Tori Spelling - Actress
Eric Roberts - Actor
Reginald VelJohnson - Actor
Brooks Nader - Sports Illustrated model
Phaedra Parks - Reality TV (Real Housewives of Atlanta)
Jenn Tran - Reality TV (The Bachlorette, The Bachelor)
Dwight Howard - NBA
