I'm bored, so I wanted to look at the numbers for Forminte's previous tenure (2017-2020), just to highlight how absurd his appointment is.
2017 Individual European Championships
Olivia Cimpean (26th) and Ioana Crisan (29th) made it into the AA final due to the 2-per-country rule. The former ended up in 23rd place, while the latter was 16th.
2017 Individual World Championships
Ioana Crisan placed 27th in AA Quals and was called up to replace Reagan Smith. She finished in 23rd place.
2018 European Championships
TQ - 12th place || 147.663 ||
Denisa advanced to the vault and floor finals, earning a bronze and silver medal, respectively.
2018 World Championships
TQ - 13th place || 153.763 ||
Once again, Golgota was the only gymnasts who competed beyond Prelims, with a 19th place finish in the AA final.
2019 Individual European Championships
Denisa qualified for the AA, VT, BB & FX final.
2019 World Championships
TQ - 22nd place || 151.895. ||
Spain placed 12th & qualified a full team for Tokyo with a score of 159.021.
Maria Holbora earned her nominative spot for Tokyo by placing 54th in AA prelims.

At the 2008 Olympics which went far better for him than it had any right to, of his 6 gymnasts

Tamirjan: competed on a large femoral head fissure/fracture. She'd also pulled her groin after Euros prior and barely got back to training AA. The Chinese Olympic village doctor turned pale looking at her MRI after the team final realizing she'd competed two sets of AA

Nistor: had to recieve 6 cortisone shots in her back for spasms. Ankles and knees were in bad shape too. In early 2008 Forminte said she wouldn't vault that year as she was so beaten up

Izbasa: sprained her ankle on vault at Romanian nationals shortly before Beijing and had to ice it every day there

Acatrinei: Had a slipped disc in her back which caused her to retire right after

Dragoi: competed on a fractured tibia
