I didn't even recognize her! Was stranger things THAT long ago?? She's married?!?!?

ETA: But you know what, I just watched some Barcelona team footage bc of the on going book summary, and my literal first thought when seeing Kerri was "oh my gosh that girl looks like Eleven from Stranger Things" lol

Stranger Things has one more season coming. Yes, they took 9 years to make five seasons.

Stranger Things also had to deal with two halts in production. Once in 2020 due to COVID. Then again in 2023 to the Writer's Guild Strike.
It’s also just because the showrunners are just taking their sweet time, like with Euphoria also. There’s no need for such long breaks. Everyone is now 45+ and has a mortgage now with all their delaying.

Those high schoolers in Euphoria are going to make Rizzo from the Grease movie look like a 7th grader by the time the series ends.

Yeah, I'm never watching anything else by the Duffer brothers again. I'm starting to think the streaming model of television isn't for me (I'm not a huge fan of the wait between seasons of Bridgerton, for example), even if the lack of genre diversity in network television sucks these days. There are reasons why I watched mostly CW well into my 30s, one of which is I rather watch a show about superheroes than a medical drama.

I’ve pretty much stopped watching a lot of television shows. I can’t get involved and then have it canceled or taking four years between seasons, or just ending stupidly. The last show I watched with any fervor was Game of Thrones. While I didn’t like how it ended, it was the lack of care in the last few seasons that really irritated me. The showrunners were just trying to end it quickly so they could do a Star Wars movie. That ended up getting taken from them due to how badly GoT last season was.
