Millie Bobbie Brown of Stranger Things fame is set to play Kerri.
Filming is taking place in Spring 2026, with no set release date.

2026 is the 30th anniversary (already!!) of the Mag 7's historic team gold in Atlanta.

ETA: But you know what, I just watched some Barcelona team footage bc of the on going book summary, and my literal first thought when seeing Kerri was "oh my gosh that girl looks like Eleven from Stranger Things" lol

Stranger Things has one more season coming. Yes, they took 9 years to make five seasons.

It’s also just because the showrunners are just taking their sweet time, like with Euphoria also. There’s no need for such long breaks. Everyone is now 45+ and has a mortgage now with all their delaying.
