Lorette Charpy injured again

Not sure this warrants its own thread but I also wasn't sure where else to put it. Charpy announced that she's been diagnosed with a bone avulsion after a fall at Worlds. I can't tell from the post which limb is affected.

This poor woman is an injury magnet.

Her post doesn't mention the elbow at all, it literally translates as "bone tear". Note sure where IG and Google are getting elbow from.

I would read that as meaning the elbow was affected too - it would be a very random place in her post to put the emoji otherwise.

I'm glad she got her World team medal with that great clutch bar routine, but if I were her, especially with juniors like Colas coming up, I'd thrown in the towel after all this heartache and literal body ache. But I'm not her I guess.

She seems to have been around (and injured) for years - she's turning 24 in December so I guess she could still be in contention come LA, depending on the level of French juniors coming through..

It feels like bubble wrapping herself and taking it easy for a year before coming back wouldn't be a bad idea at the moment. There's still three years till LA.
