Interesting! I guess we don’t have many Co-op’s here on the West Coast. HOA fees for similarly priced/size condos here in our big cities (San Francisco, Seattle) are more like $750 to $2,000 at the most depending on what is covered. Co-op HOA fees covering more makes the number make sense.Co-op fees typically include most utilities, property taxes, the underlying building mortgage (if there is one), amenities, etc. That fee is very much in line for a pre-war building on the UWS for a unit of that size.
