Worlds is 3-2-2 next year. Plenty of time for her to come back to elite if she wants. But maybe she is really happy to be Olympic alternate and ready to move on.

Also maybe her leg is still hurting her so she doesn’t want to double dip into Elite and NCAA right now. Spend a year or so in college and then figure out if she really wants to (and physically can) do elite again before LA

Yea if she did both she would get no break too, because she's going straight into NCAA from here. Next summer would be her first real time off to rest a bit.

And if college coaching can help her like it helped mykayla, she'll come back a real contender. (though I don't see her featuring on UB many times in college despite her likely AA potential otherwise).

I think she will be fine on bars with an NCAA routine and not having to do a same bar release or full pirouette. Sacaramone was horrible on bars as an elite, but she was 9.9ing on bars in NCAA.

With the Landis leaving she doesn't have elite coaches to go "home" to unless she returns to her old gym.

Would be interesting to see Jordyn Wieber/Chris Brooks coaching her in elite.

If you had to pick new WCC Coaches for Simone and Jordan who would you pick?
