I thought Jason Brown was replacing Maxim Naumov. Jacob sanchez seems to have replaced him and is so far in 10th. Nice to see Ilia back in first. Torgashev is now in 7th which is good for him.

Why is this a lowlight?A lowlight was active duty soldier Spencer Akira Howe (USA) competing in pairs.
Why would you add a snide, irrelevant, political footnote to what was until that point an interesting summary of the competition? The competition featured Kaori Sakamoto's final skate and fourth world championship victory. It was a great way to end her competitive career.
I think the ice dance replay is worth watching. Laurence Fournier Beaudry & Guillaume Cizeron (FRA) won ice dance and performed way better than at the Olympics. Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier (CAN) won the silver and were great as well.

I know, I’m so f*cking tired of it too. Absolutely zero need for that comment. I thought you guys were banning people for that? Why is this a lowlight?
Opposite of the Olympics actually! If she could've done the same short program she did in Prague at the Olympics, and the same long program she did in Milan at Worlds, she would have won two medals. Instead, nothing at all. Definitely a lowlight and a heartbreak, but there's always heartbreak...For example, for me Amber Glenn was a lowlight because she was set up to medal in the short program and then failed to capitalize in the long program to win a medal. Same as in the Olympics. Such talent not able to come through when a medal is on the line.
Oh duh.Opposite of the Olympics actually!
