Usually I find the CGN data analysis a bit weak, but this on is actually interesting and a bit fun (for me, at least). They analyzed what percentage of gymnasts over the last 10 years were in-state recruits for each school. It's presented on a map with the bigger the circle, the bigger the percentage of in-state recruits. I only wish they also had a table so I didn't have the click to see which schools were which.

I found this interesting too! I am a little surprised that more schools don't try and recruit from within their state. I almost feel it would be a good rule to implement for NCAA to be required to recruit a certain percentage from within their state!

Super interesting/

I'd also love a list of how many have been recruited from each state of that time so compared what percentage stay.

There has been talk of that for years.
Surprised that University Of Texas at the very least. Maybe now that they are in the SEC it might come.

Josc Roberson's father was outspoken about this, stating the need for D1 Texas schools, as Josc would like to have stated in state, but no D1 teams.
