Sorry for my ignorance but what is 'ED'?
Eating disorder, she struggled w eating a lot one day, eating nothing the next day, she did abuse laxatives for a little before she knew it was bad, then she stopped, she drank a lot of water to avoid eating at one point, she just struggled with food a lot.

How about getting a therapist? Sometimes people or families have problems a professional can help with.
yes she does have a therapist, but the body shaming js hurts her very bad. ppl tell her to lose weight, tell her she looks like a balloon and i tell her shes beautiful but it doesnt help her idk what to say to make it better

Then why are you, as her parent, allowing her to remain in this situation?

To be honest, your post reads like you have some weird sort of fetish. I have a child who does ballet at a decent level. No way would I be posting such concerns as a brand new member on a board full of strangers.

Unless of course, I wanted to get some sort of kick out of responses…

My daughter is a L6 gymnast, she tells me she gets body shamed a lot. She's not at all fat, just has big muscles, she did go thru an ED a couple yrs ago, was 99 lbs at above 5 ft, for her body, wasn't safe. She tells me she wants to quit, it's making her have ED urges. Idk what to tell her. She's so talented, she can go so far, but I also don't want her to go back into her ED

She needs to take a break if she has an illness that makes it unsafe to train. Why would you allow her to train if she's sick? She needs to get better first.

You wouldn't be pushing her to train if she had - for example - a spinal injury.

I'd take a look at the gymnast memoirs section and look at the long term effects on gymnasts who were body shamed, developed EDs and whose parents wouldn't let them quit
