Can you stretch out a gymnastics Leo that’s too tight?

My daughter bought this Leo and bought it in an adult Lg and sadly it digs into her shoulders but fits well everywhere else. It is the shiny Snug fitting fabric. Is there any way to stretch it enough she can wear it and is comfortable wearing it most of the day doing her gymnastics? Any help appreciated!!

Yes, give it a gentle hand wash then put it, still wet, on a sturdy coat hanger. Then put a heavy weight in the crotch area. The weight will stretch the fibers whilst it dries.

I found a large tin of potatoes worked well. Leave the weight in until you need to wear it.
