That rings a bell. Maybe the interview with John Orozco in 2020?
I think it was Orozco. He has his own spin.
When there are more people than there are spots on teams, people will always find reasons why this or that person wasn't picked.

Orozco was chosen for two Olympic Teams. Not sure what he's complaining about.

Being chosen for a couple teams doesn't preclude discriminatory behavior or poor management.

Aside from the general mismanagement and feeling of being treated worse that he feels was happening, there were 2 examples that definitely look outright vindictive towards him - someone else being chosen for the AA at Worlds when he was putting up better results, and then being forced to vault at the Olympics when he told them he was too injured for it, and after they even told him he wouldn't have to vault.

Being put in an Olympic lineup isn't what most people would call vindictive. I have no argument with you that it was poor management. I have no idea why they put in Orozco on vault instead of Horton. It makes no sense.

The AA thing at Worlds probably was personal. I think they were not going to put that guy on PH after what happened in London.

One thing that he was totally right to complain about was USAG replaying his London 2012 PH routine on the Jumbotron at Nationals. I think he was even competing at that meet. That was really bad, and he had every right to be angry.
