Hey, Canadian artistic gymnast here. Im a sophomore in highschool (grade 10) and currently at level 7, but working on level 8 vault, and a feq level 9 skills ( i.e Aerial on beam, toe off front dismount on bars, etc. nothing crazy.) when i was in grade nine i always assumed id go to collegebin canada, but now i know i wnt to go to college gymnastics.

Problem is, i see all the gymnasts that get recruited are like level 9 or 10 by my age. Ive done research, but most sources dont give me anything reliable.

My coach told me that though i am a little late its nothing crazy, and that he thinks its possible for me because i have good work ethic and quote "i know you'll bust your butt for this if its what you want".

I want to just trust my coach, but im a veteran at being stressed :’) pls help me

First, Chalk Bucket is probably a better board for Thai sort of question.

Second, unless you have a huge leap in your skill level, yeah, the odds of even NCAA division 3 are very low.

What can you perform on vault? You might be able to walk onto a Division 3 team with a vault that could make the line up.

Look into acro and tumbling. Lots of NCAA options for gymnasts and level 8/9/10 gymnasts can get scholarship money. Many of my athletes have gone this route.
