Amdavad, India confirmed as host of the 2030 Centenary Games

Amdavad, India has today been formally ratified as the host of the Centenary Commonwealth Games in 2030, marking a historic moment for the Commonwealth Sport Movement.

Interesting news.

They envisage there being 15-17 sports, which is more than the 10 we'll see in Glasgow next year but smaller than Birmingham. Obviously remains to be seen whether this actually happens.
