This commentary is also awful. I get that these are very young gymnasts and they don’t want to be in any way critical. But instead of just saying how amazing they all are, they should be using the opportunity to be educational

Yep, 2023. Then competed as a junior in 20024, including Jesolo, then disappeared.

The younger VanGrissven sister put up 8.35/5.1/13.45.9! Beam. Haven't see it yet.

It sounds like the HP lead roles are no longer separate, Memmel/Sacramone/Okino are just doing all three jobs together now.

The FIG has dominated by non big 4 countries for years. Nearly every post 2000 decision has been made either to directly advanced non big 4, or as side benefit. So I do understand where Betty is coming from, but she did not come across well at all

I wondered the same. Sofie Davtyan who I really like, seems to be coached by the coach whose name I always forget. She was an intl elite for China. Anna and Valeri are there but I’ve not seen them actively coach anyone. Have these girls always been with woga?

Aren't going to be many juniors qualifying to nationals today. 49.50 is the scores. Only 4 above 37.5 with one event remaining. 2 more above 37.0, although one is Addy VanGrissven, who is going to vault.

Were there 2 evgenias? I’m sure Evgenia Leykina (Danila mother) coached girls team with Evgeny. Then when Sergei P moved to Florida, so did she.

This competition has been significantly lacking the "Whoa, who's that?" moments.

Eagle seems to be new in WOGA and first year doing elite, was level 9 in different gym last year. Diggs was in Kentucky until level 5. Stiggers, Klauser and Davtyan seem to be WOGA home grown.
