I think it’s time to admit that the Cheng is overvalued compared to the Amanar. The technique to chuck a hideous one with relatively minimal deductions has been pretty much figured out.

It needs to be downgraded to a 5.4 at minimum.

The fact that the Amanar has basically disappeared and we see these Frankenstein attempts at the Cheng is definitely a problem. I'm mostly okay with Wong's, but it's clear that her Yurchenko technique has regressed... she used to have one of the best DTYs in the world, full stop.

We definitely have to do something. It seems like half the sport is either chucking a profoundly dodgy Cheng or still rehabbing whatever injury they incurred training it.

Likewise. That technique combined with what appears to be a floor made with half dry concrete is asking for trouble.

Deeply concerning that she's only capable of a FTY. Her DTY is scary AF, but an FTY for someone who is supposed to be a vault specialist? Add in she may not even vault, and this feels like a very wasted spot unless she pulls off an amazing floor, which seems questionable at best from the sound of things.
